We are looking for a talented Data Engineer to join our application development team. In this role, you will design and implement data pipelines and data architectures that enable seamless integration and analysis of data for our applications. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and application developers to ensure our data infrastructure supports business goals and enhances user experience.

3+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.
Proven experience with ETL tools and data pipeline frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend, Informatica).
Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) and data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift).
Experience with programming languages such as Python or Java for data processing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to move and transform data from various sources.
Implement real-time and batch data processing solutions to support application needs.
Create and maintain data models that ensure data is structured effectively for analysis and application use.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop data solutions.
Optimize and manage relational and NoSQL databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance and reliability issues.

Partner with data scientists and analysts to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
Establish and enforce data quality and governance standards.
Implement data security measures to protect sensitive information.
Document data architectures, workflows, and processes for team reference and compliance purposes.
Create user guides and training materials for internal stakeholders.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
