We are seeking a motivated and skilled Data Engineer to join our application development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enable effective data integration and analytics. 2+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.
Experience with ETL tools and data pipeline frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend, or similar).
Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) and data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift) is a plus.
Experience with programming languages such as Python or Java for data processing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a collaborative mindset.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for diverse data sources.
Implement data integration workflows that support application requirements and business objectives.
Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes.
Monitor and optimize data storage and processing performance across various databases.
Work closely with application developers, data scientists, and analysts to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
Participate in agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives.
Assist in designing and maintaining relational and NoSQL databases to support application functionality.
Develop data models that enable efficient querying and reporting.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data workflows, processes, and data lineage.
Provide training and support for team members regarding data tools and best practices.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within data engineering workflows.
Stay current with emerging data technologies and industry trends to enhance our data capabilities.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
