We are looking for an experienced Data Architect to join our application development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data architecture that supports our applications and business objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data is effectively integrated, accessible, and secure.

5+ years of experience in data architecture or related roles, with a strong focus on application development.
Proven experience in designing and implementing data models and architectures for complex applications.
Proficiency in database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Strong knowledge of data modeling tools and ETL processes.
Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Develop and implement data architecture strategies that align with application development goals and business needs.
Create and maintain data models, including conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
Design and optimize relational and NoSQL databases to ensure performance, scalability, and security.
Oversee data governance and data quality processes, ensuring data integrity across systems.
Design data integration processes, including ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows to ensure seamless data flow between systems.
Collaborate with data engineers to implement data pipelines that support application needs.
Work closely with application developers and data scientists to understand data requirements and provide architectural guidance.
Communicate data strategies and architecture to stakeholders and team members effectively.
Ensure data architecture adheres to compliance standards and best practices for data security and privacy.
Develop data security measures and access controls to protect sensitive information.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data architecture, models, and processes.
Provide training and support to team members on data architecture best practices.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
