Cyber Security Architect

  • We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Architect to join our application development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing security architectures that protect our applications from emerging threats. You will collaborate with development teams, stakeholders, and IT security professionals to ensure robust security practices are integrated throughout the application lifecycle
  • 5+ years of experience in cyber security, with a focus on application security architecture.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing security frameworks for web and mobile applications.
  • Strong knowledge of application security principles, secure coding practices, and security testing tools (e.g., SAST, DAST).
  • Familiarity with security protocols, encryption standards, and identity management solutions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically about security challenges.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of conveying complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement security architectures for new and existing applications, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Create security frameworks and guidelines that support secure coding and application development.
  • Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential risks in application designs.
  • Recommend and implement security controls to mitigate identified risks.
  • Work closely with application development teams to integrate security measures into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Provide guidance on security-related issues during application design and development phases.
  • Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures for application security incidents.
  • Participate in security incident investigations and post-mortem analysis.
  • Promote a culture of security awareness by conducting training and workshops for development teams on secure coding practices and threat mitigation.
  • Stay updated on the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and regulatory requirements.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of security architectures, policies, and procedures.
  • Report on security metrics and the overall security posture of applications to management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are highly desirable.
